Jayendrina Ray is a journalist, essayist, and content strategist. Her writing includes reported journalism, interviews, and essays across culture, technology, migration, and human rights. She has written for Seattle Weekly, its sister publications, and The Borgen Project.  

Ray holds a PhD in English, with research centered on postcolonial theory, geographies of confinement, and systemic power. Drawing on her academic training, Ray's writing and design practices rely on critical reading, rigorous research, and cross-disciplinary synthesis.

In the tech sector, Ray has worked across content and learning design systems, often with dense, information-heavy subjects that need to be untangled before they can be taught.
